About the IPsolutions Certified Network Specialist Training :
IPsolutions Certified Network Administrator (ICNA) combines our basic course for Hardware, Networking & Wireless Networking essentials, Voice over IP essentials & training for 8 international certifications:

- CheckPoint: CCSA (Check Point Certified Security Administrator)
ICNP builds your foundation in the knowledge of networking and also provides you with working knowledge of networking operating systems.
On course completion, participants are expected to:
- Understand a personal computer and its components, assemble a personal
computer (PC) and set up local area networks (LANs) & do the necessary
tasks typically associated to the job of a hardware & networking
engineer.
- Understand wireless technologies & set up wireless networks within
an office using Access Points and wireless Network Interface Cards.
- Learn how voice and data communications merge in Voice-Over-IP technology
- Be able to install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access
services for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not
limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP
RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.
- Have the skills to successfully implement a Microsoft product or technology
as part of a business solution in an organization, to successfully manage
and troubleshoot system environments running on the Microsoft Windows
operating system and to design and implement the infrastructure for
business solutions based on the Microsoft Windows 2003 platform and
Microsoft Windows Server System.
- Effectively use, customize and script a Red Hat Enterprise Linux
system for common command line processes as well as use basic network
utilities.
Be able to install, configure, and attach a new Red Hat Linux system to an existing production network.
RHCE, called the "crown jewel of Linux certifications," proves an individual's ability to configure networking services and security on servers running a Red Hat OS.
- Possess the requisite skills to define and configure security policies
that enable secure access to information across corporate networks also
have the ability to monitor network security activity and implement
measures to block intruder access to networks.
